Knights Hands at Work

Alex Carlson led the charge on Saturday morning September 7th, 2024 during the tree trimming and tree cutting at the home of Catherine Lawler in Cedar Hill.

Right there with him was Efrain Ochoa, who arrived in his new truck, and his chainsaw.

Together they made short work of our mission, which was to trim the branches hanging over the house, cut down two dead trees on the side of the house. plug the hole in the fascia to stop the squirrels from entering the attic and trim one bush in the back yard.

Of course all the cut off branches and trees had to be cut into 4′ sections and dragged to the curb for pick-up – up stepped Jack Ramsden and Moises Martinez.

It should be noted that Jack Ramsden just showed up on his own and that was significant because two of the scheduled Knight were unable to participate. It should also be noted that this was the first Knight Hand project for Moises and he passed with flying colors. Everything came off with only a few scratches and only a little blood. As always, everyone felt good about helping someone in need. Although Catherine was in church while the chainsaw buzzed, her companion, Sue Wagner, text a “thank you” to all the Knight that worked this morning. Good job men – you make us proud to be a Knight.
